The One Tree Hill Connection Podcast is far from a fan podcast, it strives to be a mouthpiece for the show One Tree Hill. Comprised of multiple segments including: Artist Alley, Behind the Scenes of One Tree Hill, Episode reviews, and original content.
In the Artist Alley, Gideon interviews artists and bands who have had songs featured, or had on-camera performances, on One Tree Hill. She has interviewed countless artists and the list includes: Kate Voegele, The Honorary Title, Tom DeLonge from Angels and Airwaves, Andrew McMahon from Jack’s Mannequin and most notably The Fray. And the list continues to grow.
In the “Behind the Scenes of One Tree Hill” segments, Gideon speaks with cast and crew from One Tree Hill. In October of 2008, in an unprecedented move, she was invited to Wilmington, N.C. to attend filming of One Tree Hill. She got to observe cast and crew film the show’s special 40’s noir episode and also got behind the scenes interviews with numerous crew members.
The One Tree Hill Connection Podcast aired its first episode on May 20, 2008 with host Denise Gideon. It was born from the inspiration of One Tree Hill. It’s humble beginnings were born by providing reviews of One Tree Hill episodes, but after joining Farpoint Media in July of 2008, the podcast underwent an expansion.
The podcast has not forgotten its roots and continues to provide fans original content and episode reviews. After all it is a podcast by a fan for the fans.
