Hosting The Geekcast is Aaron Crocco, a general computer geek. Living his entire life in New York, Aaron has a passion for technology that comes through clearly in each podcast he produces. From obscure utilities that work wonders in Windows to clever TiVo hacks, Aaron is knowledgeable and does a great job of educating his listeners. Starting his computer-life at the ripe-old age of 4 on an Apple //C, Aaron was one of the few children of the 80’s that grew up with a computer in the household and the only 8-year-old in existence who wanted Santa to bring him a StyleWriter for Christmas. Aaron’s obsession for Back to the Future is unsurpassed and he is always up to a trivia challenge.
Co-hosting the entertainment-heavy episodes of The Geekcast is Gozer, an avid gamer, sega fanboy, movie maker & Ghostbusters geek. His passion for video games and tech is apparent from the moment he talks into the microphone. Gozer grew up being the only sega fan boy in his school. He loved making movies as a kid with his old VHS camcorder and now he enjoys using Final Cut to edit his silly home made movies. Gozer owns his own proton pack and has seen Ghostbusters over 100 times! From in-depth knowledge of 80’s & 90’s arcade games to the latest releases on consoles, Gozer’s prowess is second-to-none and is up for any Ghostbusters trivia challenge!
Also co-hosting The Geekcast is tech geek Allen. With a passion for technology showing at an early age, Allen began taking computers apart and rebuilding them at the ripe age of 8. He hacked his first machine at 10 years old and has rolled with it since.

This is my favourite tech podcast. It covers enough of what’s going on with enough breadth that I do keep my geek cred. I now know more about the latest Apple tech than I ever wanted to. (Never a multi-media presentation kind of guy)
. I can now answer all those netbook questions I’m getting in the run-up to Christmas. Also liked the shoutout to techtubs – my 2nd favourite show, but mostly because I’m from Canada.
Thumbs up.

The Geekcast is a wide-ranging podcast, but manages to serve well it’s eponymous audience–geeks.
With SciFi movie and gaming reviews, technology discussions, hacking tips, and other segments perfect for geeks, the podcast delivers what it tells you it will deliver. The hosts are Apple and Google devotees, but aren’t above praising any tech company (including MSFT) that has a successful product in the marketplace.
Don’t allow yourself to be turned off by its informal style or lack of polish, the guys keep you up-to-date on what you need to know to keep your geek cred.
i really enjoy a lot this podcast and i consider it one of the best in its kind.
