Jim Perry was born in the Seat of Placer County and the heart of Gold Rush Country–Auburn, California. At age 11 he watched Joe Montana lead the greatest Super Bowl comeback in history over the Cincinnati Bengals, and that’s when he discovered his love for football. He was filled with an insatiable hunger for the history of the 49ers, and consumed as much as he possibly could about them.

Here on the 49ers Fancast, Jim brings a balanced, long-term approach to analyzing the team. Rarely reactionary, but often inflammatory, Jim provokes discussion with reason, statistical evidence, and a sprinkle of the latest fan controversy.

Jeff Bagwell catching the pitcher asleep, as he steals home. Craig Biggio
smacking a ball down the line for a double. Jimmy Wynn chasing a difficult
flyball down and making it look routine.

Adam Everett going deep behind the bag snagging a hard hit grounder and
throwing a speedy runner out. Brad Lidge getting a batter to chase a hard
slider in the dirt for the save. JR Richard intimidating a batter before
even throwing a pitch. Roger “The Rocket” Clemens keeping runners from
scoring through sheer will.

All baseball fans would enjoy these images especially those that are Astros’

Cup Car Update is a summary of NASCAR Nextel Cup news and information, produced by NASCAR fans, for NASCAR fans. The goal: to help keep you up to date on the world of NASCAR Nextel Cup Racing.
